Latest polling has Vice President Kamala Harris surging in Florida right now. A new poll released by a top pollster in Florida, FAU, has the Vice President within two points of Donald Trump in the sunshine state.

In a head to head matchup with Trump, Kamala Harris is at 47% while Trump comes in at 50%. When RFK Jr. is added into the mix, the poll tightens with Harris earning 45% of the vote and Trump earning just 47%.

Looking at other critical races in Florida, the polling is just as good for Democrats. Rick Scott is now leading Debbie Mucarsel Powell by just four points after a recent poll came out showing his favorability rankings tanking.

In more significant news, Floridians overwhelmingly favor two ballot initiatives that would codify the right to abortion rights into the state’s constitution and legalize marijuana access in the state.

Overall, really good news for Florida Democrats. While the state is not yet in significant danger for Donald Trump, with each new poll, it appears as though Kamala Harris is surging at the right time.

At the very least, this could force the Trump campaign to redirect money from other states to shore up Florida – something they can’t afford.
